| | This British variant has tracks missing from the Australian version and a couple of tracks here which were not in the Australian version. Plus it's an 18-tracker against 20 tracks for the Aussie version, still, it's 8 more than the American version. |

| | R.C. said: "Girls can get made the charts on the 21st January 1981 and baby makes her blue jeans talk on. 23rd of June 1982" Which means I was a year out on "Girls..." but fairly correct on "Baby Makes..." Dr. Hook left Capitol in 1981, taking producer Ron Haffkine with them to Mercury. The Greatest Hits LP was issued in 1981 just as the group left the label. It wasn't issued on CD as the format was still(roughly) a year away from being launched. It wasn't until EMI-Capitol issued the revised version of the Greatest Hits album around 1990 or so that the two Mercury-sourced tracks were added.... and still they(Capitol) were claiming ownership of Sylvia's Mother and Cover Of Rolling Stone and showing them as 1980 copyrighted. Again the right thing to do was to say on the booklet "Used by permission of CBS Inc. Published & Copyright 1972". |

| | R.C., Girls Can Get It and Baby Makes Her Blue Jeans Talk were both recorded for Mercury in around 1982, just before the group finally broke up. The tracks were added to a revised version of the Greatest Hits album at tracks 11 and 22 respectively for the new CD version. Apart from those additions, the album followed the same content and track order as the Australian LP, issued as PLAY-1003 in 1981. |

| | I must make a correction to my comments of 22 hours ago! The cover's ALMOST the same! The variances are, the Australian front cover has Dennis Locorriere and Ray Sawyer superimposed on the heart-shaped moon and the rear cover has producer Ron Haffkine's photo placed in between the track listings which are grouped Side One at left of Hafkine's photo and Side 2 at right, under the heart shape. This you'll see when I upload the Aussie version, which I'm about to do. |

| | The cover's the same as the Australian issue but that's all. The compilation is different. For a start, we had ten tracks per side, A4 and B8 of this version were not included on the Australian compilation. Looks like I'll be putting up the Aussie version some time soon. |
