Oddly constructed sleeve... Single piece of printed card (Front and Back), encased in a "plastic bag", which is then folded over, and the seams of the bag bonded bottom, top, and left.
This record makes me nervous to handle, and I'm sure not many survive in pristine condition, due to the sleeve construction.
I called it "card" in the notes, but it is more like paper...very thin and flexible... and while the vinyl is still in pristine condition, there is nothing you can do about the outer bag coming free from the paper cover inside, as over time, with minor fluctuations in temperature, the bag expands and contracts (it is not fixed onto the card sleeve), so it is loose around the cover... I already have one puncture hole in the bag, and that's all you need to let the air in and blow the bag out completely (My Cover Is Blown!).
A couple of notable things about the front cover design:
Firstly, the image is cropped at the bottom from the standard UK copy design, and secondly, much (though not all) of the lurid green colours have been replaced by blue (The "Angel's" face).
The back cover is cropped at the top, and the eye is replaced by a simple green rectangle for the song titles.
(It is now going back in the plastic sleeve, and tucked away safely!)
