Goldstein Custom molded by Plastylite The LP labels on initial pressings with the espresso machine style box cover misspelled the artist's last name and is entitled "Ballads, Blues and a Spiritual Sung by Von Ronk" Later reissues with different cover designs were released as follows: 1) 1960-65 - Folkways #FS 3818: Same title - Monochrome photo of artist's profile over an orange background 2) 1960-65 - Folkways #FS 3818: Same title - Same cover as above reissue with turquoise background 3) 1966 - Verve / Folkways #FV 9017 / FVS 9017: Gambler's Blues - Featuring artist's photo imposed on a jack-of-hearts playing card 4) 1968 - Folkways #31020: Black Mountain Blues - New Cover design with psychedelic orange & pink text.
