Vinyl Album
Notes Unreleased album featuring songs titled after women's names. The album was announced in the April 1977 issue of Billboard, and a promotional flyer released by Reprise Records. 3 sessions were staged in March 1977 with arranger Nelson Riddle before the project was abandoned. As a result only five songs - "Nancy", "Emily", "Sweet Lorraine", "Linda" and "Barbara" - were recorded with Sinatra's vocals. No vocals were added to "Elizabeth", "Stella By Starlight", "Tina", "When Joanna Loved Me" or "Laura". "Nancy", "Emily" and "Sweet Lorraine" were eventually released in the 1990 4-CD box set "The Reprise Collection". "Linda" and "Barbara" were added for the 1995 "Complete Reprise Studio Recordings" 20-CD collection. The five non-vocal orchestral tracks have not been issued.
