Notes Although the original catalog # system of the Verve Folkways discs of 33.33 rpm were issued by means of the FV-9000 series, this was the first-issued LP disc of the Verve Folkways catalog # system of the 3000 series. However, this particular disc was originally issued by means of the Verve Folkways FV-9024. Furthermore, the front-jacket title of this FV-9024 issued disc included featuring Tommy Flanders who was the original vocalist of this group. The five other members consisted of Danny Kalb, Al Kooper, Steve Katz, Roy Blumenfeld and Andy Kulberg. This tunes of this disc were recorded from a live performance that took place at the Cafe Au Go Go in the Greenwich Village section of New York City from the 24 to the 28 November 1965. In June 1967, this group traveled to California to perform at the reknowned Monterey Pop Festival.
