This Verve Forecast disc of 33.33 is the first of which Janis "Ian" Eddy Fink had recorded and was the first ever issued disc of Miss Fink. The tune "Hair Of Spun Gold" was the first song of Miss Fink that was published in 1964. At this point in time, Miss Fink was in the tenth grade at the High School of Music in New York City. The tune Society's Child, which was initially issued in September 1966, had moderate success in some US cities, but when this disc was reissued in May 1967, this tune was a national success in both the United States and Canada. By means of the disc of 45 rpm of Society's Child, the subtitle is Baby I've Been Thinking
