Notes

The Appletree Theatre was a group of studio musicians that was comprised of John and Terry Boylan and jazz session musicians, such as Larry Coryell and Eric Gale who recorded their only disc of 33.33 rpm called Playback.

Playback was an opera-type disc that was divided into an overture (beginning), three acts and an epilogue (ending). Additionally, this disc contained full-length tunes that were connected by vocal narratives and various elements of classical, jazz and rock music. Furthermore, the "in the beginning" vocal prologue and Hightower Square tune were part of the overture whereas the lullaby mini-tune, and the full-length tunes Saturday Morning and Nevertheless It Was Italy were part of the first act.

Also, from the tune of I Wonder If Louise Is Home to the tune of You're The Biggest Thing In My Life was the second act. Plus, Don't Blame It On Your Wife and The Sorry State Of Staying Awake were in the third act. Finally, from the tune of Barefoot Boy and to the tune of What A Way To Go was the epilogue.
