Notes This disc of 33.33 rpm, which consists of traditional blues and folk music tunes, concerns Big Bill Broonzy, who was a reknowned blues guitarist, singer and composer who played country music blues music to lmainly African-American audiences shortly after Mr. Broonzy's career began. He copyrighted more than 300 tunes which consisted of both original blues songs and traditional folk tunes. This disc also concerns Pete Seeger who was a folk guitarist and who was musically trained at the Dalton School in New York City, During Independence Day 1954, Mr. Seeger and Mr. Broonzy traveled to Circle Pines where they both performed a concert at the Circle Pines campground in Delton, Michigan. This concert was taped for the purpose of broadcasting to Chicago area blues and folk music listeners this concert recording by means of the radio station WFMT-FM which was based in Chicago.
