Neil Forbes 11th Mar 2015		Motown never bothered to tell Martha Reeves when they were moving.....! That was a bit rude!



RogerFoster 11th Mar 2015		Track A1, backed with A6 was released as a U.K. single in March 1973 credited simply as being by MARTHA REEVES. Label scans can be seen at 45Cat. Regarding The West Coast, Motown was using L.A. studios in the mid-60s for a small proportion of their recordings (often with overdubs done later in Detroit), as can be seen by the recording details on view at the Don't Forget The Motor City website.



Bill Fick 10th Mar 2015		They would've had to keep Hitsville open if Martha was to cut any new records. According to the lady herself, when Motown packed up & left for the West Coast, they never even bothered to tell her...

Neil Forbes 10th Mar 2015		It's good to see Motown was still using their original Detroit "Hitsville" studios in 1972, even after establishing their MoWest studios in Hollywood in 1971.
