Vinyl Album
Notes This album was released in the Golden Archive Series, from which the catalog number adopts is prefix of GAS. The series incorporated selections from both MGM and Verve labels. B2: SPANISH NIGHTS AND YOU was first recorded on August 4th, 1966. A faster version with less emphasis on a Mexican brass sound was subsequently cute on September 26, 1966. The version most widely available is one of the "takes" from the September session. B1 & B3: MAMA and WHO'S SORRY NOW are "live" recordings culled from the album MGM SE 4411 "LIVE" AT THE SAHARA IN LAS VEGAS. Album sleeve front and labels credit title as simply "CONNIE FRANCIS". Spines display the full GREATEST GOLDEN GROOVIE GOODIES title. I have provided label scans of the commercially released label plus promo labels in both white and yellow. Images
