PhilMH 24th Apr 2015		A bit cheeky of Greenline to use the MCA Records logo under the Chess one at bottom-left of the back cover, as MCA were distributed internationally by WEA at the time (mid-to-late 80's), but the licensing credit for Sugar Hill Records at bottom right, as well as the appearance of the Greenline issues in Charly Records UK catalogues, leads me to concludes that these were unauthoiized issues masterminded by Sugar Hill's Joe Robinson in collusion with Marshall Sehorn's Red Dog Express company, resulting in several US and UK court actions by MCA against Charly, Robinson and Sehorn over the next 15 years or so.



RogerFoster 27th Jan 2015		The writer credits on here need to be taken with a pinch of salt. Both "Midnight & You" and "Baby Blues" are vocal interpretations of songs previously done by Barry White's Love Unlimited Orchestra on the 1974 L.P. "Rhapsody In White". The L.P. was first issued on U.S. Chess 60042 in 1975 and peaked at #54 on Billboard's R&B L.P. Chart. "Midnight & You" came out on a U.S. 45 in 1974 on ABC 4388. The label scans at 45Cat show the songwriters as B. & G. Page, exactly the same as on the Love Unlimited Orchestra L.P.
