 The Mitch Mahon and the Editions song 'Make Me Stay A Little Bit Longer' is actually Status Quo's 'Make Me Stay A Bit Longer,' written by Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt and released as a single in 1969. It's surely one of the first cover versions of a Quo song. The album was organised by Pat Egan, a music media personality in Ireland who would later promote concert tours there, including Quo in the early 1980s. There's a little more information about the album in a book called Green Beat by Darragh O'Halloran.
