BEATLEJOHN 3rd Dec 2014		During the "Sire" years, The Searchers made a couple of swings to The USA. On one of their visits, a friend of mine and I had the good fortune to have a nice long chat with Mike Pender, John McNally and Frank Allen..(and a few autographs!)...One thought....while many of the Mersey-beat groups had disbanded by 1967and the Fabs lived on a few more years, The Searchers (deservedly) lived on well into the 80s.......truly.a wonderful band...John
