 W.B.lbl, I have no verifiable idea when this record was pressed and released (my guess would be around the time President Lyndon B. Johnson was in office?!?), but these recordings are from the "Green Hornet" radio series, starring Jack McCarthy as the Green Hornet. "A Matter of Evidence" was from 20 January 1948, and "Hit and Run" was from a week later, 27 January 1948. The 2 episodes can be listened 2 here (episodes 264 and 265). And I agree - - this probably was released as a cash-in on the American TV series?!? ☺
