| PhilMH 7th Aug 2017 | By this time, Stax were trying to get around their distribution deal with CBS by starting a couple of new labels which, they thought, wouldn't be covered by the deal, so Gospel Truth mutated into Truth, distributed by various independents. This one uses the Gospel Truth number sequence, so it was originally intended for that label, and a separate sequence was created for other Truth albums later, with at least one album, John Gary Williams' self-titled effort, being a Stax LP stickered on the cover with the new label and number! I think listing this one with both label names might be the best way to go. | |
| Gian_paolo 5th Aug 2017 | As far as I know there is only 1 edition of this album, for some reason it has the Gospel Truth label logo on cover but the Truth logo on labels, so this lp should me mixed together with this one, only to decide which label is the right one! | |
