Released a year after The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack album for the film: "On The Beach" On Roulette/Columbia Labels.

The Score For the Film (The A-Side Of This Album) Was Composed by Ernst Gold, for which he won a Golden Globe, but no credit for his composition is on this album, only the credit for arrangement by Conductor Mitchell Powell.

The B side is comprised of Scores for other Movies, including the last for another Gregory Peck film: The Big Country.

The Film: "On The Beach", starring Gregory Peck, Ava Gardner, and Fred Astaire is based on the novel of the same name by: Nevil Shute.

Magic Marmalade 24th Jan 2015		Gregory Peck, Ava Gardner, and FRED ASTAIRE in a post apocalyptic sci-fi movie.... I've got to see this movie!
Magic Marmalade 24th Jan 2015		It Caught my eye with the bright yellow... Was a pain in the butt to find info on! I bought in the local charity shop today, but can only get search results for the "officical" (?) soundtrack album release from the year before on google. I feel there's a contractual dispute behind this album and the other being released so close together on different labels.
