Live at Nassau Coliseum, N.Y. 1976. The second double album of this concert, and the first one with the songs in the correct running order. CAN YOU HEAR ME and YOUNG AMERICANS - MEDLEY are from Cher TV show. The MEDLEY in the middle of YOUNG AMERICANS is a whole bunch of hits from the 60's. The cover comes in two versions, one with and one without a printed back side.
Added label scans, I presume the original labels where all plain white but the previous owner of my copy has very kindly and neatly I might add, written the song titles on each side.
I finally got the albums yesterday from the States after a bit of a mix up with my order. So I had the cover three weeks ago but the albums that were sent with it were not this Bowie set at all. They were to my great disappointment a double album bootleg of Dylan "Life Sentence" which I know to Dylan fans is quite a prize but in my case not exactly what the doctor ordered.
Fortunately though the correct albums were located and shipped through and I can finally now hear this great Bowie set again.
USA produced second bootleg version of this set originally bootlegged by The Amazing Kornyfone Record Label as Resurrection On 84th Street in 1977 with an incorrect tracklisting and minus the duets with Cher. This set has been bootlegged many, many times and sure they will be plenty of versions appearing here over time. Strangely though in Feb. this year (2017) it will have an official release minus the Cher duets and with four extra on the downside the drum solo in the bootleg version Panic In Detroit will be edited out to make way for the extra tracks. So Bowie fans will still need to have both versions. Well, I'll need both versions for sure.
The tracklisting here is the same as the linked Duke plates version but the songs are split between the sides of the album differently as Changes appears on Side B and as the lead track on side C on the linked release. This by the way is a fantastic record by any standards bootleg or otherwise.
