Vinyl Album
Notes Doug Brown was a young man who died tragically at a very young age in 1987. The tracks on this L.P. contains the best of the music that Doug recorded among three different bands. Sidenote: Although not mentioned anywhere in the liners, or otherwise, in 1983 Brown was also involved in a band with Cocking called The Livin End. That band was fully functional as early as 1983 and were playing all of the tracks featured by The White Lies on this collection (Hey, I should know I was a member of The Livin End), including a memorable live gig in mid-1983 at The Soft Rock Café, Vancouver. It remains unclear why The Livin End portion of Brown's career has been omitted from the liners of this collection. Proceeds from the sale of this album will go to the Douglas James Brown Memorial Fund. This fund was established by Doug's family and friends to provide an apprenticeship program for the training of audio/video technicians at the Western Front.
