A unique collection of Ulster Folksongs gathered and recorded by Robin Morton
The book called "Folksongs In Ulster" was issued by Mercier Press in 1970. The two LPs to accompany the book were released in 1971.

Fokeman 16th Feb 2019		A further little snippet of information with regard to this LP. Robin Morton is the owner and manager of the Scottish label "Temple" but he was born and brought up in the North of Ireland and in 1967 he helped form "The Boys Of The Lough" with Tommy Gunn & Cathal MacConnell of Fermanagh. Here he was collecting songs from the North of Ireland and included were recordings of his band mate Tommy Gunn. Shortly afterwards Tommy Gunn was replaced by Shetlander Alistair Bain and Dick Gaughan soon took some of the responsibilities of playing guitar and singing, making the group a four-piece for its first two albums. Dick Gaughan was replaced by Dave Richardson for the second LP.
