J & B Records were granted sub-licensing rights by PolyGram to release the above album which, despite its title and sleeve, should not be confused with the USA Suffolk Marketing Inc. 2-LP set TREASURY OF LOVE SONGS & SENTIMENTAL FAVORITES.

Also issued simultaneously on CD J&B JB608 and MC J&B JBC308.

This album features 22 selections compared with 24 on the USA SMI-1-50/51 2-LP set on which it is based, of which only 13 appear on both releases. Ten of these form the MGM albums tracks which make up side 1, and a further three are included on the 12 hit titles featured on Side 2. The album sleeve reproduces the front of the American original.
