The song DANCIN' is a version of a track from the 1930s I believe. John Farrar is shown as the composer but back in the 1930s the true composer was someone else of course. Does anyone know the original artist who recorded DANCIN' presumably in the 1930s and the true composer of the song?
Early copies came with stickers on the cover and included 8 full colour postcards on one large folded and perforated card sheet.
Also included was an order form for Electric Light Orchestra merchandise which included "Baseball shirt, T-Shirt, Sweat shirt, Satin shorts, Baseball hat, Patch, Enamel badge" plus exclusive souvenir offer of Roller skates with Sneaker shoes.
Just noticed this album (JET LX 526) has been submitted twice for the UK, once as Various Artists and once as Electric Light Orchestra with A & B sides switched, neither side is actually designated as A or B even in the run-out, on the sleeve front ELO is listed first but on the back the track-listing reading left to right the ONJ side is first which also coincides with the CD version.
