The Engineers, Martin Birch, John & Lou, are Martin, John Acock (Steve Hackett) and Louis Austin, an old school friend, of many years.

John and Lou were tape ops/engineers at De Lane Lea, and shared a flat in Camberwell, where I would visit time to time.........I remember Lou telling me that during the recording of this album "the lads" Rod, Ian, Kenny, Ronnie Wood and Ronnie Lane would have "a bit of a drink".......

Added all label & cover scans. This is the first transitional press after Kinney took over Warners. This one still has the Warner WS 3000 orange labels and has both Warners & Kinney's Cat No in the deadwax. It still has the WS 3000 Cat No on the sleeve which has the Kinney sticker over the top of it. The second press with Kinney has orange labels but the WS 3000 is removed from the deadwax and the sleeve only has K 46053 on the rear. The third release sees a redesign of the label to the more familiar Green type and only has the Kinney number K 46053 in the deadwax.
