I can't comment on any of the "new wave" of 180g pressings of anything, as I don't have any, but when the old stuff was pressed (Unconsciously, before it was a "thing") on thicker stuff, it always has a sense of quality about it.
I've noticed that a few of the later seventies vinyls I have are of better quality in this way... must've gotten over the oil issues from earlier in the decade by then.
It may be better the get later seventies issues of early seventies albums in this respect.
(My best copy of Dark Side Of the Moon is a late seventies press)
Added inside gatefold scans and green lyric insert card
(had to adjust the exposure to get the card to show the approximate green against the darker text, which washed out the colour of the card itself... it looks roughly right now, but the card is a mint colour).
