 I didn't get the chance to see these (one of my regrets) , but a friend of mine saw them a couple of times in the late 1970's. Said they were awesome live. I've got some other live stuff on CD which is very good also. Mick Green gives a good account of himself on Paul McCartney's live at the Cavern DVD

 Review
The live side of this is great. Admittedly the singing is not so hot in places but the band is firing on all cylinders and cooking up a heady brew of foot to the floor guitar driven rock 'n' roll. The B side of the album recorded in the studio is not much to write home about. In fact some of the songs here "Don't Műnchen It" and "Gibson Martin Fender" are nearly as bad as "Just Another Party" from their 1982 Peter Gunn EP. Pirates fans will know what I'm talking about here but is this album worth having?

Hell yes, the live side is as good as gets for hearing Mick Green do his thing on guitar like no-one else can. Recommended to anyone that likes British R 'n' B bands or loves bluesy rock 'n' roll guitar bands.
