How to date this one? Hmmmm.... original US issue was in 1963, but there doesn't appear to have been any Australian issue then (very odd, in view of Rick's Imperial hits that were originally issued on London via E.M.I.); in fact, this catalogue number seems to have originated as IRL (signifying an Imperial label release) 32,674 in late 1967 or early 1968, shortly after Festival acquired the Imperial and Liberty licences (previously with E.M.I.). Back cover shows the pre-1971 United Artists logo, but the labels are the 1971 and later design. Labels show (P) 1972 United Artists Records, Inc., but the back cover shows (P) 1973 United Artists Music And Records Group, Inc., which is the mid-1974 and later company name!

Michael de Looper's listings don't show this on the London or Liberty labels at all. Discogs also doesn't show this, or any other Australian version, but it does have the New Zealand version with almost this number (UAL 32674), with the same label design, though showing (P) 1973 on the labels, and the back cover has United Artists Records, Inc for the company; it also has both the NZ and Australian Festival company names! The cover also has the older logo.

The singles at 45cat suggest that the old logo and label continued in Australia and New Zealand in early 1971, for a short while after being dropped in the US. The presence of the old logo on the covers suggests that there might have been 1971 pressings, which would have had catalogue number SUAL-932,674, with Festival starting to shorten their LP numbers in 1972 (first by dropping the S and the 9, and in 1973 dropping the initial letters except for L completely). Either that, or someone in Festival's art department in 1972-1974 screwed up and used the wrong logo! Anyway, let's split the difference and date this 1972; we can always correct it later if new information turns up.
