Hi Lee, this looks like it was their first release here, but MALPRACTICE did come out later, at least according to an old catalogue that I have, with catalogue number L 35720. Also released, according to the same catalogue, were:
STUPIDITY L 36058
SNEAKIN' SUSPICION L 36229
BE SEEING YOU L 36365
PRIVATE PRACTICE L 36688
AS IT HAPPENS L 36954 (the only one of their United Artists LP's to chart, entered the Aussie top 100 30 July 1979, peaked at no 67, 5 weeks in the chart)
LET IT ROLL UAC 5027 (after United Artists Records moved from Festival to EMI late 1979/early 1980)
Reissues via EMI in 1980
SNEAKIN SUSPICION UAC 5050
STUPIDITY UAC 5055
I don't know if any of the others were reissued, because August 1980 is the last issue I have of the AMSCAT catalogue (and I've only ever had 3 issues, May 1979 and May 1980 being the other two - availability of that always seemed to be erratic, and I don't think it lasted very long).
The band had one further charting album, BRILLEAUX, on Stiff L 38701, entered the album chart 11 May 1987, 5 weeks on the chart, peaking at no.78.
I'm not sure if Malpractice was released in Australia so this may have been their first release here. I didn't put mono because I'm not aware of a stereo equivalent coming out. Anyway, along with Malpractice, of the same year, probably the band's strongest set of original songs.
Hey, I've single-handedly pushed Australia to equal #1 (I know it won't last) on the Dr. Feelgood listings page. I don't know whether to be proud or ashamed?
