Hi Phil, you're right that my labels are from 1982 and yours should be promoted to before mine on the page. It's also odd that both our Aussie copies' labels list the album as "Night Clubbing" rather than "Nightclubbing" like the song - The Dutch release has a similar mistake. Correction sent to move labels into the correct order.
Hi Lee, I think the 20th Anniversary logo would probably have been celebrating the label's 20th anniversary in the UK. According to wikipedia, the company was founded in Jamaica on 4 July 1959, but relocated to the UK in May 1962, so presumably all of the 1982 pressings would have had these labels.
Aussie cardboard (paper I call it) covers and melting glue have got to be the worst quality covers in the world and certainly not designed to withstand our weather. Not much care taken with the vinyl, artwork or including inner sleeves on most occasions either. No wonder so many record buyers here would pay a premium for imports. What's the go with 20th century label anyway Phil?
Standard labels now added, possibly first pressing, as I bought this shortly after release. Entered the Australian chart the week of 29 June 1981 for a 38-week stay, peaking at no. 19.
