Notes

This was the second Connie Francis compilation to be given the TV mail order treatment. Unlike the Audio Research Inc. package SESSIONS SG-69, which was still being advertised and selling well three years after its release, this item had a life of only six months before the record company [PROVIDENCE] was taken over by VISTA MARKETING INC. on the REALM RECORDS label. The single jacket sleeve, identical on both sides, carries the title CONNIE, ITALIANO. Record labels bear the sub-title CONNIE FRANCIS SINGS THE WORLD'S GREATEST ITALIAN SONGS.

A10: THIS IS MY SONG (Cara Felicita) is a "live' performance sung in English and Italian, and taken from the taping of a 1970 concert held by Connie in Romania. Copyright of this track - leased specifically for this 2-LP set - is held by Connie Francis.

B9: ADDIO MI AMORE, sung in both English and Italian, is a composite mix of different recordings and not the same as the version first issued on single MGM K 13923.

C4 & D2: YOU DON'T HAVE TO SAY YOU LOVE ME & ITALIAN MEDLEY stem from the same Romanian concert tape as THIS IS MY SONG (Cara Felicita) mentioned above. Copyright for both are held by Connie Francis as well.

C10: MUNASTERIO E SANTA CHIARA, recorded in Italy on October 5th, 1962, made its debut on this release. An earlier recording of this song, cut on April 28th, 1962, remains unissued.

D4: BELLA (One Rainy Day In Naples) was originally recorded with TIME ALONE WILL TELL on February 23rd, 1967 but not released. The version featured in the set was vocally. overdubbed on February 15th, 1977. It was recorded specifically for this CONNIE, ITALIANO package. Further vocal overdubs were performed on other selections but subsequently not used.
