Lee Wrecker 26th Jul 2016		Just noticed that 7226power, mod.marty are chasing or want this album and you both probably already know but I'll tell anyway, this album has been re-released. In fact this album and the band's first release "The "Angry" Young Them!" were reissued on February 12, 2016.

PhilMH SUBS 16th Dec 2015		January 1966 is the original release date given in Decca's 1974 main catalogue.



janiejjones 17th Jan 2014		My boxed label tucked in cover is laminated with 'Clarifoil' made by British Celanese Liminted and Printed by MacNeill Press, London Label has layout/typo differences also (see rights societies, matrix#)



carryonsidney ● 22nd Dec 2013		just had a look at mine and it is a red label boxed logo although the typesetting is different from yours. some where between 66 and 70 I suspose?



Lee Wrecker 22nd Dec 2013		Thanks for detective work carryonsidney I'm surprised it's that old but I should have known to go on the cat# instead. Learning all the time - it's a great record though a lot more ambitious than the debut and even though some of it doesn't quite come off (eg. the scatting in I Put A Spell On You) overall it's a really solid album.



carryonsidney ● 22nd Dec 2013		The original album has the same number and was issued twice in the sixties, one with a flipback sleeve and one with a tucked in type like yours. My 60's copy has the 2nd sleeve, I think it has a different label to yours Im not sure will dig it up.. in fact my old RRPG gives your copy a 1970 date and 66 for the first press so this entry should be 1966 as the 3 issues share the same cat#.



Lee Wrecker 22nd Dec 2013		Original release 1966 but this one is anyone's guess. I reckon somewhere between 79-82 (when I bought it new) but I can't pinpoint a definite listing.
