Back of sleeve includes dancing instructions for each track: "The following notes may serve as a reminder of how to do the Scottish country and old-time dances in this selection by Jim Cameron. Bluebell Polka, Scotish Waltz and Irish Whispers have not been included, since these tunes are suitable for any polka or old-fashioned waltz."

For example, instructions for the Gay Gordons dance (A1) begin: "Couples facing line of dance, man slightly behind his partner, taking her left hand in his left and her right hand in his right, hands held at shoulder height. Both begin with left foot." This is followed by detailed instructions for each two bars, and later four bars, of the title.
