Scans of Page 2 thru Page 11 of the 12 page booklet added. I don't know why I didn't scan and add them 5 years ago when I added the label variants, but now I feel MUCH better!! ☺
BeatleEd, I have one of those US mono promo LPs too. The disc itself looks like a standard US Imperial LP, except for having promo labels, so it must be US-made. Haven't listened to it in years, but I seem to recall it sounds more like a fold-down mix than an actual mono mix. In 38 years of Bonzo collecting, I've never seen a US commercial mono release of any of their LPs. There may have been mono promos (for AM radio stations) as late as 'Keynsham,' but I've never seen evidence of any but 'Gorilla.' - Perry Amberson (R 5055)
I have a picture of a US mono promo LP that is actually a stereo sleeve with a sticker 'Mono LP' pasted on it. The Wikipedia entry states a catalogue number of LP-9370 (mono) instead of LP-12370 (stereo). So it might exist except the fact that the promo has a mono sticker,, makes me doubt if a mono LP was ever released, had that been the case a mono sleeve would also have been printed. Perhaps it was scheduled but cancelled.
A question that comes to mind is where does this pressing come from? Was this mono a very limited pressing for promotional use only or where they imported from the UK?
For some (yes, we must remove a track, or two!) American reason...the track "Big Shot" was withheld from the US counterpart...but we did get the booklet!....John......(not sure if there is a US mono version of this, as it was released on the "Stereo Only" cusp....John
