Danny Lamego And The Jumping Jacks had been performing and recording since the 1950's. He jumped on the Twist craze, and called himself Danny Peppermint. His 45 "The Peppermint Twist" went to #54 in Billboard. It is a different song than the Joey Dee hit, although both songs are on this album.
