Companhia Brasileira De Discos release
MGM label

The Philips-owned Companhia Brasileira de Discos took over MGM manufacture and distribution from Masterpiece-Musidisc in 1963 following a worldwide agreement with Deutsche Grammophon and Polydor signed the previous year. The company remained licensees for the label following the Polydor takeover and its own absorption into the global Phonogram group, until the merger with Polydor to form PolyGram. CBD's stereo catalog appears limited to just two items: A LA ITALIANA, with a "unique" catalog number of MGM STLP-300.001, placed after the main MGM LP-30.000 series, and CONNIE FRANCIS SINGS BACHARACH AND DAVID, which conforms to the main series, albeit with an "S" prefix.

Same content and album artwork as USA MGM E 3965 CONNIE FRANCIS SINGS "NEVER ON SUNDAY" & OTHER TITLE SONGS FROM MOTION PICTURES but given Portuguese title and liner notes.

This album was released with two slightly amended album covers with varying bluish backgrounds surrounding the outside of the LP title. Also, their were two label editions as well.
