Vinyl Album
Notes The group’s name is consistently shown as Pic Nic, but I’ve added a hyphen so that this entry will be linked to the 45cat entries for Pic-Nic. The cover images are slightly obscured by a plastic outer sleeve which is permanently attached by a grommet in the upper corner. A4 is a Spanish-language version of “Society’s Child.” The label shows its composers as M.D. Ostiz and Janice Lan. I’ve spelled Janis Ian’s name correctly. Ostiz isn’t credited on the US LP. The 1968 Spanish 45 renders the title as “El Destino Es A Ti.” The US release of this LP shows the composers of A6 as Milt Okun, Paul Stookey, and E. Mezetti. The 1967 Spanish 45 of “Negra Estrella” shows its composers as Richard Farina, Milt Okun, Paul Stookey, and C. Mentaberry. The US release shows the composers of B1 as R. Turia, J. Soler, and J. Dimech. On this LP, Jeannette Dimech is omitted. The US release shows the composers of B4 as R. Turia, J. Dimech, C. Dougherty, and A. Lowell. On this LP, Dougherty and Lowell aren’t credited.
