This album was recorded through a 10-position stereo custom console on an Ampex 350-2 for stereo and Ampex 351 for mono at 15ips. Cinema equalizers and Langevin limiters were used throughout. Reverberation was achieved with a natural echo chamber. Microphones used for voice were Telefunken M250 and Neumen U67; for organ, Neumen U67; for lead guitar, Beyer M160; for drums, Altec M11, Telefunken M250 and Telefunken M410; for electric bass, direct to console, and rhythm, direct to console.
