It's too bad they didn't record TIE ME KANGAROO DOWN SPORT -- you could've played this album as a wobble board.

Notice what was not on this LP - such latter-day tracks as "You Smell Like Turtles" (the flip to the 45 release of "Daddy Played First Base"), "Hello Darlin' #2" and that song's flip, "The Punny Farm" (not to be confused with their earlier recording "The Funny Farm" as on their Fractured Folk Songs LP from 1964).

I think that this was the final Homer and Jethro release on RCA Victor. Henry D. "Homer" Haynes had passed away on Aug 7, 1971. Jethro gives a nice summary of their career in the liner notes.
