Magic Marmalade 4th May 2016		Review This album is pure magic. The best of New Orleans style jazz with the best blues vocal and songs. I've found some good stuff this year, but this is by far the best album I've come across yet. Quite slow and deliberate in places, with the weaving and meandering jazz floating happily along under Jimmy Witherspoon's all time great blues voice, and picking up the pace in others with a more vigorous jazz tempo that the blues alone cannot often do. Something for a hot, sticky summer night, or almost any occasion, just open the windows, open the taps on your stereo, and let this float out of the room and into the night, and I guarantee you'll be smiling from ear to ear.
