This is a Columbia Record Club issue. CRC had also issued two MGM compilations, MG-1-5406 I'M ME AGAIN and MGB-1-5410 CONNIE'S GREATEST HITS prior to BMG resuming record club releases of Polygram product.

This is a single album featuring 12 of the 24 titles recorded for Malaco, retaining all "first-time" titles, with the exception of OLD TIME ROCK 'N ROLL. The compilation appears to have been deliberately designed to showcase ballads and standards at the expense of up-tempo recordings.
