"All the cuts on this album were recorded at Bradley`s Barn in Nahville in July of 1956. As in the case of the Buddy Holly "For The First Time Anywhere" LP (MCA-27059) and the other albums in the MCA "Collectibles" series, the original 15 ips full-track session tapes were used in remastering."

It seems the Solid Smoke LP SS-8001 (also claiming the use of the original monaural master tapes at the MCA studios) was not considered when marking two tracks as "previously unreleased takes".
