philwill SUBS 30th Dec 2020		Music Master Record Catalogue 16th Ed. (1990) notes a release in Oct '80 which was deleted '81. Sadly it doesn't note any cat#s in this edition but it is likely that MCL 1502 is the Oct '80 release. It's undated here.



Magic Marmalade 12th Jul 2015		I'm not entirely sure yet, but with my further investigations into the Fame reissue label, it seems it was about this time that MCA bought ABC, and the label buy up nonsense begins in earnest... On the label for the Fame issue of this, it states that the original recordings were made by ABC, and so maybe that could have something to do with the different cat you have. It would have to be checked, but probably other ABC stuff appearing under MCA from this time has similar issues.



umbria99 12th Jul 2015		My MCA copy has Cat # MCL 1502, so is this the original and the above version a reissue given its later number?
