kab2112 SUBS 2nd Apr 2019		Complete set of alternate scans now added. Judging by the comments made for this item, they could possibly be for the original 1960's release and the set already posted could be for a later re-release.



TopPopper 10th Oct 2013		People are using the dates on the labels. Fortunately, mfp released their "Hits" and "Hot Hits" series at regular intervals from 1967 to 1973, and this is an ideal guide to both the label design development, and the catalogue number sequence, enabling us to date the label's releases more accurately. When I upload the "Hits" LPs, which will be soon, it will be possible to slot the others in. Sorting by cat number is probably helpful meantime, but early LPs had different prefixes, which will mess it up a bit.



carryonsidney 9th Oct 2013		I think there is something up with the cats & dates on this label, if you sort by the label name you can see the cats are not currently chronological or sequential? I think the Published dates are a bit misleading on this label. Sixties label design to my eyes looks like this one

Bodston SUBS 9th Oct 2013		I can't see any other markings in the runout. The Sleeve is printed in Great Britain by Garrod & Lofthouse International Ltd. Definitely a UK release.



TopPopper 9th Oct 2013		Strange to see Made in USA on the labels. The red oval design wasn't in use in the UK until mid-1971 but was in use in other parts of the world before that. The catalogue number is right for 1969, if it's a UK number.

bobzyeruncle 9th Oct 2013		Spotted the ring, but couldn't remember which pressing plant had that. Got a few Starday releases and Capitol record club copies with it. Is there a ----< in the trail-off? (Probably wouldn't show up if the metal parts were imported, I'd guess.)

W.B.lbl ● 9th Oct 2013		No question, Winchester, VA, based on the hybrid pressing ring/borderline deep groove (which measures around 1.390625" diameter - as opposed to the 1.5" diameter from the other Capitol plants.
