Focus B 9th May 2022		Must be one of the fastest budget re-issues ever, seeing the original Columbia version was issued only in late 1971. This MFP version is the one I remember, but as an oddity the original Columbia version is more commonly encountered in second hand stalls nowadays.

W.B.lbl 29th Jan 2015		Track B3 was from the 24 Feb 1971 "Uplift With Humphrey Bumphrey" sketch (the last of the three B&W shows Hill made for Thames during a colour technicians' strike); Ms. Goldie's character in that interview sketch was named "Joanna Bakewell-Tart," a double-pun involving both Late Night Lineup hostess Joan Bakewell and a popular British snack food, bakewell tart.



bobzyeruncle 23rd Nov 2013		Capitol must have kept the stampers for those made in USA pressings. :laugh: "Words & Music" was released on the budget green label many years later to capitalise on Benny's success on American television.
