The USA pressing is probably an early 70's pressing made during the energy crisis, when several UK companies were manufacturing outside the UK. 45cat has several Polydor-group singles made in the USA with UK 7-digit catalogue numbers and UK company names (US Polydor used a different catalogue number system); similarly, within the EMI UK group, I have seen at least one UK Tamla Motown release (I think it was Stevie Wonder's INNERVISIONS) pressed in the USA with the black & silver Tamla Motown label (which wasn't used in the USA), UK catalogue number, and EMI Records Ltd. company name.
Another thing, I got an issue with identical cover, but labels says Made in USA. Does this make it a US or UK issue? According to logic here, where label says Made in Holland, it should still be a UK issue? MFP issues are really a messy label to work with for us record collectors! :-(
Would most likely be a 1971 release (if the inner sleeve is original) as one of the albums displayed was released in 1971, Big War Movie Themes MFP 5171
