Soundalike cover versions of songs which were hits during 1973. Nine tracks are from the year's "Hot Hits" LPs, with three more songs recorded especially (A6, B5, B6).

"Stay With Me" was in fact from 1972, and may have been included as a nod to the original hit artist, Blue Mink, whose drummer Barry Morgan had himself featured on a couple of earlier Hot Hits albums as a session man.
