Joe Jackson's 5th and most successful album.
The album is co-produced and mixed by David Kershenbaum and Joe Jackson. It was recorded at the Blue Rock Studio, Soho, New York, USA in spring 1982. Artwork is by Philip Burke.

Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL or MoFi) is a re-issue record label known as an innovator in the production of audiophile-quality sound recordings using the half-speed mastering technique. All of the label's releases are created from the first-generation analog master recordings via a custom-engineered tape machine.
This release was mastered by Jack Hunt which can be recognized by the signature "JH/2" carved in the dead wax.

Plaatjesman 18th Sep 2014		Added the labels with the correct A and B side. These seems to be a later release and are hard to find.



GEMSMFAN 27th Mar 2014		Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab LP archive Correct "Released" is November 1983.



Plaatjesman 28th Nov 2013		They seem to have mixed-up sides 1 and 2! You wouldn't expect that from a premium MFSL production, where you have to pay premium prices. But there are also copies available with the correct sides. And the labels read "Pressed in Japan", so shouldn't the country be Japan?
