Notes

Mono.
These two discs of 33.33 rpm concern various country tunes that were recorded by means of Mercury records. This is the first disc of which the Mercury logo of the front jacket is enclosed in one oval whereas, the Mercury logo of the reverse jacket is enclosed in the two ovals that were utilized from 1957-1968. Additonally, the Mercury logo appears in all-white capital letters by means of the labels of these discs.

Though the main catalog number indicates that 2 different discs are part of one item, the sub-catalog number of disc #1 is Mercury MG-21152 and the sub-catalog number of disc #2 is Mercury MG-21153. Due to the fact that Mercury MG-21154 and MG-21155 were NOT issued, the next LP, which was Mercury MG-21156, the Mercury logo by means of both the front and reverse jackets was enclosed in one oval. However, the Mercury label logo continued to appear in all-white capital letters until the label-logo of the Mercury discs of 45 rpms had changed from the two enclosing ovals to one enclosing oval in August 1968.

Lastly, this Mercury disc was the final disc of which country music was monaurally and sterofonically issued.
