Vinyl Album
Notes This is the second Smash disc of 33.33 rpm of Jay And The Techniques, a group that had formed in Allentown, PA. This disc contains not but one nationally successful tune, which is called Strawberry Shortcake, which is melodically similar to that of Apples, Peaches, Pumpkin Pie. This was not only the final Smash LP disc of Jay And The Techniques, but this was also the final Smash disc of 33.33 rpm that was monaurally issued, but exclusively to radio station record spinners. Accordingly, no monaural stock copies of this LP disc were issued to retail record shops. Even though this tune, Baby Make Your Own Sweet Music does not appear by means of this disc, this tune was their final one that reached the Billboard hit parade of the weekly top 100 tunes. Images
