The above album was also assigned the Polydor international number 2315 254.

This album was originally marketed by Nippon Grammophon under the title THE VERY BEST OF CONNIE FRANCIS on MGM SMM 1001. It had a second edition release by Nippon Grammophon, with same picture sleeve, on the BLUE/GOLD label as MGM MM 1001. A third edition, again as MGM MM 1001, but with original pale blue sleeve background reproduced in pale green, also appeared. The release of MGM MM 2057 marks the fourth issue of this compilation in Japan. The above should not be confused with the Nippon Grammophon 20-track cassette on MGM CM 3004 which also goes under the title CONNIE FRANCIS GREATEST HITS.
