 Wow. Never seen the insert before. I read somewhere that Neil wanted glitter to fall out of the album jacket when it was first opened. I do have a copy with miniscule traces on the cover. Anyone else?

 The bravest album ever made by a mainstream artist. Tonight’s The Night was inspired by the heroin related deaths of Crazy Horse guitarist Danny Whitten and roadie Bruce Berry.

The LP insert includes a reprint from a Dutch magazine in which a journalist is promised an interview with Young provided he can source 17 bottles of Jose Cuevo Gold Label Tequila to fulfil the rider at Young’s gig at The Rainbow that weekend.

The cover is notoriously printed on a weird kind of Blotter style paper designed to degrade and it’s exceptionally difficult to find clean examples these days.
