Vinylville 14th Aug 2017		Some additional information regarding images 540806 & 540807 and the first Polygram reissues... As I mentioned, a revised label, referred to as Filmworks 2 & 3, was typically used when Polygram began pressing and reissuing the Casablanca back catalog, assisgned with new numbers. Sometime in 1983 and 1984, Polygram continued to use the original catalogue numbers with the new label and used the same cover artwork as before with one slight difference... a small pressing/printing number in the corner of the back cover. Polygram finally progressed to printing new covers with barcodes.



Vinylville 14th Aug 2017		Added images of the Filmworks 1 label, manufactured and distributed by Casablanca.



Vinylville 9th Aug 2017		Images 540806 & 540807 are Polygram pressings but instead of using the reprinted Filmworks 2 Casablanca labels, they used leftovers of the first Filmworks label. Some point after Polygram completely took over Casablanca in 1980, they repressed and eventually reissued this album replacing the studio version with the live. Different rumors are abound but it is typically accepted that the live version was a mistake by someone at Polygram.



Carouselambra SUBS 15th Aug 2014		Very weird, but my pressing has the live version of "Nothin' To Lose" from "Alive!" as the second track and not the studio version. Anybody have an explanation for this? My copy from "The Originals" and on catalog 9001 are the studio versions.
